India and Mexico – Education (Programme “My Class – My Forest”)

A Forest of Drawings for Thousands of Trees Planted Globally

Objective: To raise awareness and engage primary school students in global forest conservation and reforestation efforts, transforming them into active participants in these environmental initiatives worldwide.

Up2green Reforestation has crafted a “turnkey” educational kit designed specifically for primary school teachers. This toolkit aims to spark student interest and direct involvement in reforestation activities.

An Educational and Fun Approach…

Students are encouraged to express their creativity by drawing a tree. For each artistic contribution, a child is granted the opportunity to plant a real tree in one of several community reforestation programmes worldwide, facilitated by Up2green Reforestation.

For a Collaborative and Collective Initiative on a National and International Scale

The educational kits are available in French, English, and Spanish. The project has reached 15,000 students in India and 3,800 in Mexico.
The collected drawings are showcased on a digital platform, forming a vast “forest” of drawings, where each artwork corresponds to an actual tree planted in the chosen community programme.
